Feeling the comfort coming from her joints, Su Qing was somewhat surprised. She hadn't expected that Yui's clumsy massage skills would actually be quite good.
Su Qing naturally knew massage as well. The dean had taught him a lot before his death, ostensibly so that he could make a living with his skills even if he didn't have a chance to study. But in reality, the dean was the one who benefited most from these skills.
The dean also had a very reasonable explanation for this:
"Craftsmanship, to put it bluntly, is the service industry. How can you do well if you only have skills but don't understand service? Come on, let's start with service."
"How are you feeling? Are you comfortable?"
While massaging Su Qing, Yui asked with a grin.
"That's pretty good. Did your mother teach you?"
Although it wasn't exactly professional, it was sufficient for daily use, and Su Qing wasn't that particular about it.
"Yes, my mom is amazing! I practically begged her to teach me this!"
Yui pouted her little nose, her tone quite smug.
"What did you learn recently?"
Su Qing suddenly asked.
"Oh right, Xiaoqing, how do you know everything!"
Despite this, Yui showed no surprise at all; her admiration for Su Qing, who was "all-knowing and all-capable," had only grown stronger.
[If only I really knew everything...]
Where Yui couldn't see, a shadow crossed Su Qing's eyes, but it was fleeting.
"Let's stop the massage here. Let's go and finish today's work. Yukino should be back by now."
Su Qing leaned forward slightly, indicating to Yui that the massage could end.
"Hey, speaking of which, didn't Xiaoxue come back with you?"
"That's how it was supposed to be. I ran into her sister on the way, and she needed to talk to her, so I came over first," Su Qing explained, picking up the printed documents.
"Xiaoxue has an older sister? That's so great! I wish I had an older or younger sister too, so we could play together."
Yui inexplicably became immersed in her fantasy.
……
Chapter 142 A Subtle Smile
"Then go and acknowledge Xuezhi as your older sister, and you'll have two older sisters," Su Qing, full of mischief, suddenly suggested.
"No, I want to be best friends with Yuki!" Yui thought about it and felt that this was not feasible.
"Only good friends can be sisters. Haven't you heard the term 'sisters'?" Su Qing didn't give up the opportunity to fool Yui because of the massage she had just received.
"Is that so?" Yui was stunned for a moment. It seemed that it was a little difficult for her to equate her good friend with her best friend in a short time.
"Yes, yes," Su Qing said with a smile.
He just wanted to see Yui seriously pondering these strange questions; it was really interesting, and he never got tired of watching it.
"Let's go."
Without giving Yui any more time to think, Su Qing called out after confirming that nothing had been left behind.
"Oh, here it comes~"
Yui realized what was happening, and with a quick leap, she walked away as fast as she could.
Just as the two of them had taken a few steps outside, they ran into Yukinoshita.
"Is it all taken care of?" Su Qing asked.
"Okay. Let's go, it's getting late." Yukino nodded slightly, then turned around and headed to the workplace with Su Qing.
Yui, unusually, didn't say anything after greeting Yukino, nor did she hold Yukino's hand as usual, which made Yukino feel a little uncomfortable.
[Usually at times like this, Yui should be clinging to me...]
Yukino suddenly felt a void in her arm, and in her heart as well.
She suddenly looked at Su Qing with displeasure, as if questioning him about whether he had done anything strange while they were alone, besides letting Yui lean on his shoulder, such as...
Su Qing naturally looked innocent, blinking to indicate that he hadn't done anything.
That's really strange...
Yukino was also confused. At first, she was actually watching the two of them from outside the door, but then she went to the restroom.
If the other party wanted to do something, they should have done it already; it's impossible that I didn't see it.
Furthermore, if Su Qing really did something, it's hard to say about others, but if it were Yui...
Yukino glanced at Yui with a headache; she was certain that Yui wouldn't look like this now.
Unable to figure it out, Yukino decided to ask directly.
Just then, Yui suddenly darted forward, skillfully taking Yukino's arm, revealing a pair of adorable little fangs, and asked expectantly:
"Xiaoxue, let's be sisters!"
"Ok?"
"puff."

"[Sisterly affection] is just a metaphor; it doesn't mean they are actually sisters," Yukino explained, comforting Yui.
“But Xiaoqing said…” Yui pressed on, unwilling to give up.
"He's lying to you." Yukino stared helplessly at Su Qing, whose lips were curving upwards, and ruthlessly exposed Su Qing's deception.
Fate's boomerang ultimately struck Su Qing, and he paid the price for betraying Xue Zhixia without hesitation.
"Xiaoqing!"
Yui stomped her feet in anger, then stormed up to Su Qing with an unyielding gait, yelling furiously:
"Liar! Xiaoqing is an idiot!"
"I'm not kidding you, in mainland China, girls who are good friends are called sisters/Jimei, especially since there's a university called [Jimei University]."
Su Qing suppressed a laugh, but still explained with a serious expression.
Strictly speaking, he wasn't lying, but the "sisters" he mentioned were clearly different from the "sisters" Yui mentioned. He was just playing a little word game.
Tsk, poor Yui.
When she entered society, she discovered that everyone there was a good person.
"I don't believe you, you're a big liar!"
Yui stormed over to Yukino, took her hand, and left, leaving Su Qing alone, bewildered in the wind.
They even said I believe everything they say, which shows how morally corrupt the world has become and how people's hearts have changed.
Su Qing feigned helplessness, sighed softly, and followed.
There's nothing I can do; this is all my own fault.
However, Su Qing thought:
The girl must be grumpy when she wakes up; maybe she'll stop being angry soon?
Sigrún has taught at the Iceland University of the Arts as a part-time lecturer since and was Dean of the Department of Fine Art from -. In – she held a research position at Reykjavík Art Museum focusing on the role of women in Icelandic art. She studied fine art at the Icelandic College of Arts and Crafts and at Pratt Institute, New York, and holds BA and MA degrees in art history and philosophy from the University of Iceland. Sigrún lives and works in Iceland.
"Are you still angry?" Su Qing asked tentatively.
"Hehehe, Mom told me Yui can't talk to big liars." Yui made a face and huffed.
Su Qing shifted her gaze to Xue Xia, hoping that the other party would say something good about her. However, the latter merely symbolically covered the corner of her upturned lips with her jade hand, and after a long while, shook her head, indicating that she had to bear the consequences of her own actions.
Seeing this, Su Qing had no choice but to abandon the option of providing assistance to Yukinoshita.
Indeed, you can only rely on yourself to do anything.
After Su Qing reaffirmed his faith once again, he retorted:
"You're lying too. How could Auntie be so free to talk so much for no reason?"
"I……"
Seeing Yui hesitate, Su Qing was about to press her advantage, but unexpectedly, the girl suddenly revealed a smug look and said:
"You said you weren't lying to me, but if you weren't lying, why did you use 'also'?"
"what?"
Su Qing thought that he was probably still half asleep today, or that Yui had been possessed, otherwise how could Yui suddenly become so smart?
"Hmph, I won! So I'm ignoring you." Yui was like a victorious general, beaming with pride.
"Then I'll come back when you're ready to deal with it." Su Qing knew that Yui wasn't really angry; it was just playful banter between friends, and no one was taking it seriously. With nothing else to do, he went to Yukino's workstation to see what she was doing.
Yui was still immersed in the joy of "defeating" Su Qing until she called out to Xiao Qing a few more times without getting a response. Only then did she notice that Su Qing had somehow come to Yukino's workstation and the two of them were talking about something.
[Ahhh, Xiao Qing!!! ]
[Yui is ignoring you, but Yui-chan is okay with it!!!]
[How could they just leave like that?!]
[I'm not really angry!!!]
(Note: Yui is similar to a certain spirit doll in Date A Live, or can be understood as a younger sister personality created out of thin air.)
Yui's eyes held a hint of resentment, and she muttered to herself:
"Xiao Qing."
"idiot!"
Strange words and phrases such as "I should have known better than to ignore Xiaoqing, sob sob sob."
Meanwhile, Yukino...
"Aren't you going to coax her?" Yukino's eyes were filled with laughter, but to Su Qing, it seemed more like gloating.
"Why didn't you help me just now?" Su Qing didn't answer, but asked instead.
"Hmm...why?" Yukino pondered, then smiled faintly.
"I think...it's really fun!"
That sounds strangely familiar.
However, the connections and interactions between people are truly amazing. That girl who was once as aloof as the fine snow of winter can now joke with herself like this.
As expected...
It's all thanks to Yui, right?
Su Qing analyzed the situation internally, but his gaze kept sweeping across the computer screen where the girl was working. He asked, puzzled:
"Did you generate all these results by manually clicking through the raw data on a computer?"
"I've already done the mental calculations; the computer is just for verification," Yukino nodded, speaking in a matter-of-fact tone.
Su Qing glanced at the densely packed data in the table, then looked at Yukino.
"What's wrong? Is there a problem with this?"
Yukino asked in confusion. She had always done it this way, and the computer's result was exactly the same as her mental calculation, so she didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
"There's no problem, but Excel allows you to directly input the required formulas without having to repeatedly press the calculator button."
After Su Qing finished speaking, he gestured for Xue Nai to give him some space, and then he took the mouse and started operating it.
"Look, click here like this, and then enter the function formula you need..."
[Isn't this guy... way too close?]
Yukino's eyes were filled with astonishment.
In reality, there was no physical contact between the two, nor was there any pretense of instructing each other to touch chest to back. Su Qing had maintained a perfect distance between them, a scientifically safe and comfortable distance.
[However, let's skip it today... what this guy taught seems quite useful.]
After all, it's all for the sake of doing our best...
